We are looking for an experienced equine vet with a particular interest and understanding of lameness and imaging to assist with our growing referral caseload.A post-grad qualification in this field would be an advantage.

With the arrival of CT plus MRI and Scintigraphy, you will have extensive opportunities to engage with referral case management, supported by our expert hospital teams – diploma holders, certified surgeons and residents – and our dedicated, qualified nursing staff.

Out of hours is shared on a 1-in-5 rota working as a team with the duty surgeon, intern and nurse. You will need to demonstrate excellent and extensive customer-service skills supported by the ability to work under pressure.  Effective communication & numeracy skills are essential as is the flexibility to cover staff holidays & absences.  Experience with office IT, word-processing, data handling and web-based systems is essential.  You will be a team-player, conscientious, hard-working and organised.

The role requires excellent customer-facing skills supported by solid administration experience.  A knowledge and understanding of the equine industry is essential.
