Oakham Veterinary Hospital has a team dedicated to the prevention and treatment of a wide range of diseases, from flea and tick treatment, to more complicated surgeries and a complex variety of investigations. We place a high degree of importance on preventative treatments in order to achieve the best possible level of patient care.

At Oakham we believe that a good relationship between our clients and our veterinary team plays a vital role in the overall success of your pet's treatment. Our vets strive to maintain continuity of care, which promotes a welcoming atmosphere along with the reassurance that the vet is aware of your pet's health history. In the event that your pet requires more in depth investigations in a particular area, they will be referred to a colleague or specialist as necessary.

We are very proud to have an accredited tier 3 hospital status by the RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) and offer a complete veterinary service from routine vaccinations, health checks and friendly nurse clinics to specialist surgery. We also have a clinical association with The University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science giving us access to leading specialists at the vet school on a daily basis. The association has also substantially increased our already 'state of the art' equipment range.
