Vanessa Darlington

Vanessa qualified from Edinburgh University’s Veterinary School in 1991. Initially she worked for a short time in mixed practice in Lancashire. She then moved to Melton Mowbray in 1992 where she remained in mixed practice, treating all manner of animals including dogs, cats, cattle, sheep and horses.

In 2002 she took a career break to concentrate on her expanding family. Vanessa joined the small animal department in 2010 on a part time basis.

Vanessa lives on a dairy farm between Melton Mowbray and Oakham with her husband, Peter, their 3 boys and far too many pets to mention. She has trained and competed in dog agility for many years and can regularly be seen exercising her two horses round the Leicestershire lanes.
