.Adam graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2016, and then joined Oakham Veterinary Hospital as an intern in August of the same year. After completing his internship, Adam joined the internal medicine service on a full time basis, completing an ECEIM residency in Equine Internal Medicine under the University of Nottingham. Adam is now a European and RCVS Specialist in Equine Internal Medicine and re-joins the team here at Oakham after working at a large, well known equine referral hospital in the Home counties over the past year.

Whilst Adam is based at Oakham Veterinary Hospital on a full time basis, he maintains links with the University of Nottingham where he completed a masters degree in equine analgesia and anaesthesia. His dual role involves growing and expanding the clinica medicine service at Oakham, whilst also contributing to student teaching. 

Adam has a particular clinical interest in emergency and critical care medicine and will continue to develop this area of the practice. Adam is continuing to develop his redearch intersts in the management of acute and chronic pain and quality improvement in veterinary practice.

Outside of work, Adam is a keen crossfit athlete and has competed in various endurance events including marathon running and ironman triathlons. He also enjoys long walks with his 10 year old lurcher, Merlin.
