TRM Products

M1 Formula
This solution is used for the treatment of cracked heels and mud fever.  It is applied via a soaked swab or cotton wool to the affected area twice daily and acts to cleanse and dry the infected, suppurative skin.

Alkaline Syrup (Prescription Required)
This feed supplement is used in the management of horses which are prone to “tying – up”.  The alkaline composition serves to neutralise the build up of lactic acid which occurs during exercise, thereby reducing the incidenec of muscle stiffness.

Iron Tonic (Prescription Required)
This oral tonic is used in the treatment of anaemia to boost red blood cell parameters.  Anaemia in horses is usually secondary to another disease process but a subclinical anaemia may also develop in performance horses as a consequence of intensive training.

Exhinacaea solution (Prescription Required)
This is a herbal preparation that is given as a feed supplement to boost the immune system.

Probiotic powder (Prescription Required_
This is used to enhance the microflora and aid digestion.  It is especially useful in horses receiving prolonged antibiotic therapy as this can interfere with the normal balance of microflora.
