Embryo Transfer Success

We are pleased to announce that the first Embryo Transfer carried out at Oakham has resulted in a successful pregnancy.
Caunton Welldone, an advanced event mare, recently placed at 14th at Bramham CCI*** is the dam and the sire is the popular event stallion Granfenstolz. The uterine flush of the donor mare yielded 2 fertilised embryos which were implanted into 2 recipient mares, one of which has recently been scanned in foal at 14 and 27 days.
